Dumpster hides Rohna history
In 2016, Tom Finn retrieved a batch of papers from a dumpster in Cincinnati, Ohio. After discovering these papers, Tom did some investigating and found that The Rohna Survivors Memorial Association would be holding a reunion at the Crowne Plaza in Dayton, so he drove to it with his son Nick, as they felt that the papers were too important to just be thrown away.
As it turns out, the collection includes more than 250 letters, photos and documents (over 1,000 pages total).
The Association was so grateful to them that they were invited to our 2017 reunion in Indianapolis. Here is a photograph of then President, Michael Walsh, with Tom Finn and his son Nick.
Are these papers published or available anywhere to view?
The letters were all scanned and saved to a hard drive and are also archived in the cloud. They are currently being used as research material for the upcoming documentary- Rohna Classified. At this time, they are not available for public viewing. For more information about the documentary, please visit rohnaclassified.com
I would also like to know if the papers have been scanned and placed online.
