My uncle PV Authur G. Straub (35684593) was one of the casualties of the HMT Rohna sinking. To this day his two sisters (Ages 91 and 85) do not know the truth of his passing. My one Aunt still thinks that he was kill by friendly fire and that is why they never received any detail on his death. The only information they had was that he was killed in the Mediterranean and the date of the attack. Authur's Mom and Dad along with my Mother went to their graves never knowing how Authur died. I have found more information about the attack, name of the ship and other information in the past month then they received from the government over the past 75 years. Any information about Authur would be helpful. He was assigned to the CE Unit.

2020 Reunion

2020 Reunion Has Been Cancelled

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, and with sad hearts, we have decided to cancel the 2020 Rohna reunion.

We believe it is the right course of action to take for the health and safety of our members.

We have already rescheduled the reunion in Salt Lake City, Utah to June 10-13, 2021. Even though the travel and hotel industries have been hit hard by this health crisis, they have guaranteed us the same room rates.

If you are not registered to receive our newsletter, please do so now. We will do our best as determined by current events, to get it out to our membership. Please keep safe and stay healthy during these unprecedented times.

We are looking forward to seeing all of you in June 2021!
