My father Captain John Cain, was a Convoy Officier on HMT Rohna, he was one of the last to leave the ship, he spent hours in the ocean finally p/u by a English Corvette. He was haunted by the memory of GI with full equipment on, jumped into the ocean and died. Does anyone remember my Dad?? Thx.
